Notice to quit with wrong tenants names

I instructed my lawyer to serve a notice to quit to tenants, this was done within 2 months of the end of the tenancy. However they have put the incorrect first name of the tenant on the notice, not a spelling mistake, the wrong name. Does this invalidate the notice, and does this mean my legal right to evict the tenant at the end of the lease has been given up.
