James, the error on the front page of the agreement is not a big problem. If the tenants have been paying their rent on the 23rd of each month as opposed to the 1st then so be it. Normally we state that the rent should be paid on the same date each month as the day they moved in, however we have had people who prefer to pay on the 1st and thus we redo the agreement and they pay a little extra to get them to the said date whereupon they then pay the full months rent. The troublesome tenant could be right - do not hassle him. Taking into account that the agreement states 1st of each month in advance then the tenant can only be 2 months behind once the 1st has elapsed. You will probably find it awkward to change the agreement with the troublesome one as they tend to be aware of their rights etc. Hope all this makes sense.
