Noise coming from tenant - upsetting neighbour

I own a 1st floor flat. Owner of ground floor flat is complaining about the noise made by my tenant. Do I have any part to play in sorting this out apart from encouraging them to sort it out amicably? I was thinking in particualr about any obligations I might have vis sound proofing, etc. Any comments gratefully received.
