I have a tenate who skiped out on her lease 5 months early without so much as a complaint or conern. She turned off her elcetricity with a fridge full of food and still has not told us why! she left the apartment in shambles, we just remodled new windows, roof and siding she drilled holes in the windows to hold her airconditioners. I am in the process of taking her to court but she will not even sign the certified letter stating that we are holding her belongings for 30 days. I also heard that the damage occured even with the jugde ruling in our favor , she would not have to pay the exspences in which she made for her self. is this possible all that could happen to her is some damage to her credit which i am sure is already in bad shape. I really need some advice, if not just to help me except that there are people that can do this kind of thing..? toatl cost of damage at this point is about 2,000 dollars!! Thanks heart broken!
