thanks for your reply. obviously theres more to it than my simple statement. he started off holding back payment for jobs outstanding but whenever i arranged workmen round he would not be in(the house is 300 miles from where i live) how would a judge normally see these sorts of problems? im sure he will try all sorts of tricks he has already said that he is going to say i threatened the previous tenant as well as him! the house was always rented through halifax property services but cos of this guy they washed there hands of him last year so this is first time i have directly dealt with a tenant. i just want the house back to sell it and get whatever i can from what he owes me. any advise would be welcome.
