Am about to arrange safety checks on a property I recently inherited with sitting tenants. Your page on electrical equipment safety checks seems to indicate that ALL electrical appliances in the property have to be checked and declared safe. Does this include electrical items that belong to the tenants that I have no control over, or is it simply the electrical fixtures and fittings? The property was let unfurnished.
