Please help.. Does anyone know where I stand. I have recently bought a small house in Carmarthen Wales, the property had a sitting tenant. The previous owner assured me that the tenant was a good payer and responsible. I was happy to take the house with the tenant thinking that he had been in the property for some time and had like the old landland said was a good tenant. Since completing the sale of the property 2 months ago and renewing the tenancy agreement with the tenant we have I have not had any rent and the tenant is ignoring my requests for payment. I have since found out that the tenant has been in prison and recently been arrested again for violence against women and his family has a reputation within the local community. I'm at the end of my tether, what can I do? Please email with advise.. Thanks |
